I thought that as I have many T.shirts I would make an ongoing project and wear a different one each day for the days I go to college for this year 13/14.

Day 1 ‘OLD’ by Canadian Nomeansno those name derives from an anti-date rape slogan after a judge in a rape case said no means yes. The kanji on the shirt is Japanese for old. nomeansno

Day 6 A fund raising tee for the website UK Indymedia after the fbi seized their sever hard drives (in London) for posting news on anti war demonstrations in 2004 (over 1 million articles). The server was back online within 4 hours!

Day 7 I used to have one of these, how portable sound looked like in the ’80s and great for developing arm muscles.

Day 10 Augusto César Sandino, the original Nicaraguan revolutionary and leader of a rebellion between 1927 and 1933 against the U.S. military occupation of Nicaragua. He is quoted as saying “Come on you pack of drug fiends, come on and murder us on our own land. Day 17 tee directly from Chapas. The Zapatista Army of National Liberation often referred to as the Zapatistas is a revolutionary leftist group based in Chiapas, the southernmost state of Mexico.
Since 1994, the group has been in a declared war “against the Mexican state,” though this war has been primarily nonviolent and defensive against military, paramilitary and corporate incursions into Chiapas. Their social base is mostly rural indigenous people but they have some supporters in urban areas and internationally.

Day 18 Fucking awesome anarcho punk band and still giging (never stoped) this tee I got 2 years ago to replace the one from ’85 Subhumans

Day 19 the modern anarchist tee. No longer clutching a bomb (which was left and right wing political propaganda) but holding a mouse. Knowledge is power! Brought back for me from from a european conference in 2004or5 if I remember right.

Day 20 Mexican Wolf Head by Gpe. de la Cruz Carrillo very colourful but cant remember who gave it to me!

Day 21 Mutoid Waste Co. tee from a couple of years back, taking the piss out of a brit art establishment.

Day 22 Says it all really

Day 23 Death from flying fascists – Guernica A poliitical statement from Spain’s most well know artist, painted in Paris during the spanish civil war in 1937 and only came to Spain in 1981 after Franco’s death.

Day 24 The Pirate Bay tee “Pirates of the Internet At Intellectual Propertys End” The TPB has a history of defying hollywoods money making monopoly they say they are the most resilient torrent site in the galaxy.
Note: Hollywoods profits have gone up significantly since the invention of bittorrent file sharing.

Day 25 November 5th Tee a really old one from 1985. Celebrating punk ’75-’79 Celebrating dissent Guy Falks was right.(the only man to enter parliment with good intentions.) and an anti war message about the Falklands war, When you needed a job, They didn’t want you. When they wanted a war they needed you. It even has the old style UB40 card not many will remember them!

Day 26 2nd Nomeansno tee sounds like this Only just found out that this track is a cover of a track The Residents in 1983 whereas Nomeansno covered it in 1997 youtube it I know which I prefer but original aint bad!

Day 32 Dissident Island radical internet radio show broadcasting on the first and third Friday of every month from the London Action Resource Centre. Day 37 Stephen (Steve) Bantu Biko was an anti-apartheid activist in South Africa in the 1960s and 1970s. A student leader, he later founded the Black Consciousness Movement which would empower and mobilize much of the urban black population. In 1977 he was beaten and tortured to death by S African police.

Day 41 Mumia Abu-Jamal Political activist framed for the murder of a cop, sentenced to death (last month the death penalty was dropped) since being incarcerated he has written books and made radio shows.

Day 43 Brixton where I’ve lived for many years

Day 44 does what it says on the tin!

Day 45 Well they are, all the Archangels were pretty nasty being angels of death and war.

Day 46 I’m not sure about Classwar as an organisation and how relevent statements like that are in this time of the 99% but I do like the way they ripped off the Carsberg logo!

Day 47  Unreal Tournament  a follow up of Unreal  the best first person shooter from 1998 and held its own for many years  (a PC game not console)
